On The Beach

by: Cheryl Ann Brodsky

Rolling wonders layers Sublime

Sweeping the quickening moments of time

Sparkling swirling small grains of sand

Marking life cycle this is God's land

The shells how they tumble from out of the sea

Through hollow mass waves til they're flung out and free

Seagulls are searching for food how they plea

Happiness and sorrow are passing by me

Glistening streaking as the sun brings the light

Lovers at peace on the shore in delight

The breeze is so gentle caressing and true

Guided along buy a clear sky of blue

I stand up and walk right in line with the sea

Everything here is so clean and so free

Nothing to know but so much to reach

The beauty of life lies right here on the beach
